My Valentine

My second best favorite Holiday of the year is...yes...you guessed it! Valentine's Day!

This is a beautiful die in the New Stampin' Up! 2016 Occasions catalog which I could not wait to get my hands on!

I love classy stamping and I think this is a fine example. The red, black and silver are a beautiful Valentine color combo!

Recipe:

Stamps: Blooming Love
Ink: Archival Black
Paper: Basic Black, Real Red, Red Glitter, Silver Glitter
Misc: Blooming Hearts Thinlits Die, 1/8 " silver ribbon, Itty Bitty Accents (small flower), Petite Petals punch, Dazzling Diamonds Rhinestones, dimensional

Hope that you are preparing for your Valentine Day Celebration!

Happy Stampin'

~ Burgundy Fabric Flower ~

This morning I got pretty busy around here in my Craft Studio.

Yesterday, I went to JoAnn's and browsed the fabric section and found a few very pretty fabrics with which to create some pretty fabric flowers using Stampin' Up!'s flower dies. I rarely take out a needle and thread, but when it comes to making something pretty, especially in the form of a flower, well I suppose that I tend to make exceptions.

My dear stamping friend Barbara inspired me to make these as she gave me a very pretty fall fabric flower to wear this time of year...Thanks Barbara!

Hope that you like this as much as I did making it!

Enjoy!

Happy Stampin'! ...and a little sewing :)

~ Butterfly Happiness ~

Hi Everyone!

We made this card at our monthly class at my home this past Saturday. Stampin' Up! so saffron card stock was used along with some retired SU celebration designer paper. The cut out butterfly was made with the Big Shot and butterfly die and popped up on dimensionals and sparkled with crystal Stickles. The Thank You tag was made with the SU oval all stamp set from the Mini Catalog which is ending June 30 along with the oval scallop punch.

Enjoy!
