~ Stampin Up OnStage Roomie Gifts ~

Happy Wednesday!

Today's share are some roomie gifts that I shared with my roommate Ellen while at the Stampin Up OnStage Event in Salt Lake City last week.

This Daisy Delight stamp set is so very pretty and versatile and I adore the Delightful Daisy designer paper that coordinates with it too. Ok...so I love flowers...well...you know why? I live in Phoenix, AZ, the Desert Southwest and flowers. well...although the desert can be quite beautiful at times, well I have tried to no avail to grow flowers and have not succeeded, and so I turn to my beautiful Stampin Up sets with flowers galore!

Calendars are a weakness of mine, I must admit. Everywhere I look in my craft studio, I can see a calendar...LOL! Anyone else share my fetish?

And if you are reading this far down my post, please leave a comment and I will choose someone to send a lovely hand crafted Stampin Up card to! I will contact you privately when you have been chosen to gather your mailing information.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.

Stampin' Up! makes me Happy and I hope it does the same for you!

Happy Stampin!

~ Stampin Up On Stage Swap 2017 ~

What a whirlwind the past few weeks have been! All wonderfully Good! My brother-in-law and his wife stayed with us for a few days and it felt as if my dear husband and I were on vacation with them.
We ran around a bit and enjoyed their company very much! One evening we listened to some oldies but goodies music and songs which brought back a flood of memories for all of us!

Meanwhile, I was getting ready for Stampin Up OnStage. It had been three or four years since I attended a Live event and I was so very excited to go this time. I was working on swaps for a few weeks prior and so thoroughly enjoyed the little mermaid card that I created for an event that is hosted by my up-up line Barbara Welch. It was entitled "Swap in Your PJ's" ! Each of us were required to make 36 card fronts and you would not believe all of the pretty cards that I received in return.

Stamps: Magical Mermaid
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Tempting Turquoise, Bermuda Bay, Blushing Bride, Memento Black
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Island Indigo, Shimmery White, Copper, Basic Black
Misc: Basic Pearls, Copper Trim Ribbon, Ruffled Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder

Well...there you have today's share! Stay tuned because I have lots of fun things that I received at
OnStage and I am planning on attending another OnStage Event this coming April 2018 in
beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada! If you are interested, I would be more than happy to share how you too may join in the festivities and fun with me and about 2,000 of my favorite Stampin Up friends!!!

Luv ya Lots!

Happy Stampin'!

Live ~ Love ~ Grow

Hi Stampers!

Being that the temps here in sunny Phoenix, Arizona have soared recently into the 100's, I have been spending more time in my Stampin Studio.

These NEW Detailed Floral Thinlits are in our big, beautiful annual catalog on page 194, and of course, being that it is floral themed, I had to have this!

The background is night of navy card stock and the cut whisper white card stock is popped up with dimensionals.

Simple and elegant!

Hope that you like it!

Perfectly Penned

Found an inspirational pretty card on Pinterest showcased by Francie Martin. She is such a lovely, talented Stampin Up demonstrator and I enjoy hearing her cute accent!

Of course, I just had to have one for my very own...so I went searching for similar designer papers that would work, similar to the sample she created.

Recipe:

Stamps: Perfectly Penned (retired)
Ink: Midnight Muse (retired)
Paper: Midnight Muse (retired), Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Fan Fair DSP (retired)
Misc: Lacy Brocade embossing folder (retired), Jewels Basic Pearls, dimensional

There is a point to be made about this card...since the Stampin' Up! Retired List will be announced towards the end of April, I would suggest that if you really LOVE a particular color, embellishment, punch or what have you...order it SOON!!! Especially the retiring In-Colors as they sell out quickly!

Please let me know if I can help you in that endeavor!

Hope your week is Amazing and has some FUN built in to it!

Enjoy!

Terrarium Time

Spring fever has arrived here in beautiful sunny Phoenix, Arizona...probably a little earlier than most of the country!

Flowers are one of my all time favorites to create...next would have to be butterflies.

This project was inspired by one I saw on Craft Project Central. A dear fellow paper crafting enthusiast used her electronic cutter to make the actual terrarium!

Inside I decided to put a tiny terra cotta flower pot filled with pretty flowers using Stampin Up's Botanical Builder Framelits Dies from the Occasions 2016 Catalog.

The butterflies were made using the big and small butterfly punches, also Stampin Up.

Well...having done a little "research" this morning, I am now inspired to create a Butterfly bouquet that I saw on Pinterest...ok...next project!

Til we meet again...Happy Stamping...Crafting...Creating!

Enjoy!

Stampin Up 2015-2017 In Colors

Hi Stampers!

Today I bring you a sampling of the all new Stampin Up 2015-2017 In Colors. They are so very pretty and go well either together or combined with any of our beautiful color collections!

In my future posts, I will be sharing some of my projects with these very exciting additions in more ways than one. They are also accompanied by some very lovely lacey ribbon, which, at the top of this bookmark is attached some mint macaron!

Hope that you are having a lovely weekend so far. It rained here in Phoenix, AZ on and off all day yesterday, which is very unlikely for the month of June. Ahhh, the air is much fresher now and my little herb garden is just loving the natural sprinkling of water from above.

That is all for now...until next time...

Happy Stamping!

Hello Life Project Kit ~ My Way!

Hi Stampers!

Today I bring you the awesome Stampin' Up! Hello Life Project Kit! It is being carried over to the New and Upcoming Stampin' Up! 2015~2016 Annual Catalog! I am so excited!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed putting this kit together and while many of you like the Occasions catalog version, I will admit I am really not much of a yellow person, but PINK, on the other hand is one of my favorite colors! I used the retiring in-color Strawberry Slush. I am sad to see it go...but there is always another favorite PINK...Rose Red!

You receive so much in this kit! Enough to make at least 10 additional beautiful cards!

There you have it for Cinco de Mayo!

Go forth and Celebrate!

Happy Stampin'

Creative Blog Hop Monday!

What a super adventure being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is proving to be!

A few weeks ago I received an invitation to participate in this unique Blog Hop from a fellow demonstrator Hallie Gainer. Although I do not believe we have met in person, she is a fellow Creative Crew team member over on Splitcoaststampers. I enjoy her style very much!

Being that I am finished creating for the Holidays, I thought that I would take this opportunity to post a Sneak Peek from the up and coming Sale-A-Bration and Spring catalogs!

Flowers are my absolute favorite image to stamp, color and create! This is an example of what can be done with a pretty floral stamp, some deliciously colored designer paper and of course, a little dazzle!

For the background of the card, I decided to also use a slice of leaf designer paper.

Recipe:
Stamps: Love is Kindness - Occasions Catalog premiering January 6, 2015
Ink: Versamark, Markers: Rich Razzleberry, Rose Red, Daffodil Delight, Blushing Bride, Soft Sky
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Rose Red, Whisper White
Tools: heat gun
Misc: black embossing powder, dazzling details, whisper white taffeta ribbon, dimensionals

As part of this sharing opportunity, I have been asked to answer four questions...here goes:

1. What are you working on? Hmmm...being that the Holidays are pretty much behind us, I am beginning to focus on our lovely new products from our new 2015  Sale-A-Bration and Spring catalogs! I am dreaming of ways to create pretty projects for my up and coming classes, swaps, gifts and whatever else comes up!

2. How does your work differ from others in your genre? Okay, after contemplating this question for a few moments I would have to say that...I love pretty papers, happy colors and I adore the Shabby Chic style...but not too much...and I like clean lines...am a little hesitant to sponge or rough up the edges...I enjoy seeing things POP and glisten!

3.Why do you create what you do? Ever since I can remember, I have loved paper...the feel of it, how it can be cut, colors pulled together to bring about beauty...cards, 3-D items, gifts, you name it, if it is made of paper...I am in LOVE with it! Sharing is also a big part of my hobby...I enjoy giving sets of cards to family and friends frequently.

4. How does your creativity process work? Well, usually depends on my mood...LOL...I create because  I am happy...I create when I am sad and that usually makes me happy! Lots of things around me influence my creative process...I will think of a certain color, color combination...go from there...be inspired by some nice designer paper...go from there...want to try a new technique and have some new rubber and off I go...fabrics, Pinterst, food...LOL...so many things in everyday life!

Another part of this awesome blog hop is that I get to share my nominations for the next Creative Blog Hop players whom will be posting next Monday, January 5, 2015! They are two of my favorite fellow demonstrators from my upline's team...weStamp.

Sue P. ! I must say that I am amazed at how easily Sue can come up with beautiful projects using My Digital Studio! I have attempted the program a few times, but always end up with paper in hand.
She is such an awesome stamper too and I feel blessed to know her. She is always full of enthusiasm! You will just have to see how wonderful she really is and visit her next week, Monday January 5th, 2015, at her blog: Sparkled Stamps

Stephanie M. ! This wonderful fellow weStamp demonstrator is an absolutely fantastic creator of so very many lovely paper craft creations! I have case'd (copy and shared) a few of her projects on several occasions! Please visit her blog next Monday January 5th, 2015 to see what she will be sharing for the Hop at: The Fetching Stamper

Thank you all for visiting today!

Best Wishes for a Happy & Healthy New Year 2015!

~ Grandaughters 6th Birthdays ~

Hi Everyone!

Yes, it is that time of the year...my precious little twin granddaughters Keira and Kaely are 6 years old already! They wanted a Frozen themed party...so of course, I custom created a special birthday banner just for them! And...the fun did not stop there...I went ahead and made them their personal birthday cards and decorated gift bags!

My life is truly blessed by these two little ladies. It is such a joy watching them growing up and becoming more and more beautiful both inside and out...thanks to their awesome parents...my lovely daughter in law Angie and son Artie.

Items were created using mostly Stampin' Up! Supplies!

Enjoy the weekend and cooler temperatures!

And Happy Stamping!

Porcelain Roses

While at the 25th Annual Stampin' Up! Convention this past July there was a lovely English demonstrator, sorry I do not recall her name, that showed how to create these oh so pretty porcelain roses.

As I was making my swaps for Convention, I thought that I would use some of these little pretties somewhere, somehow, but alas that did not happen.

So, upon my return home and in preparation for my Team Meeting swap I thought to myself how cute these would look grouped on a card and this is the result!!!

Recipe:

Ink: early espresso, pink pirouette

Stamps:  Loving Thoughts

Paper: very vanilla, early espresso, river rock, Cooredinations Primrose Petals cardstock

Tools: white simply pressed clay, buttons and blossoms simply pressed molds, doily sizzlet die,
beautifully baroque impression folder, little leaves sizzlet die, subtles candy dots, linen thread

Misc: dimensionals, sanding block, tombo glue, crystal effects, water color pen

To create the Roses :

You will need the clay and the molds. Tear off a piece of clay and roll it around in the palm of your hand and then press each piece into each mold.
Put the mold in the freezer, yes, the freezer, for 30 minutes, take out your mold and carefully pop out your flowers. I would strongly suggest that you allow them to dry overnight.

Next, you watercolor or using your markers, color the roses and wait at least 10-15 minutes to dry.
Then you carefully cover each individual flower with crystal effects and let them dry overnight.

You can also add glitter, multi-color your roses, try different embossing powders...would love to see what you create!

Happy Stampin'!
