Daisy Delight!

Oh my goodness! Talk about fun creating! I am in Love with the new Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight stamp set and coordinating punch.

Sadly though it is currently unorderable as demand has far exceeded predictions regarding its' popularity! But I was lucky enough to get it early on my pre-order as a demonstrator.

It will most likely be available towards the end of July. If anyone is interested I will definitely keep you updated as to its' availability.

Stamps: Daisy Delight
Ink: Versamark
Paper: Powder Pink, Soft Sky, Pear Pizazz
Misc: Clear Faceted Gems, Daisy punch, 3/4" circle punch (on bottom of flower), wire to create the stems for the flowers, hot glue to adhere the daisies to the stems

Well...tomorrow is going to be GREAT! I am so excited to be hosting some of my favorite stamping buddies in my home for Class.

Have a GREAT weekend!

Happy Stampin' !

~ Fleur de Jour ~

Today I bring you a project that I have been working on with a few of my crafty paper pals these past few weeks.

This is from SVG Cuts and my dear friend Liz initiated this and she did all of the cutting and prep work beforehand. The willing paper participants, including moi, eagerly watched a tutorial together to make this beautiful piece come to life!

As many of you already know, I just LOVE flowers!!! And being that we live in the desert, do not get me wrong, I know there are beautiful desert flowers here too, but, being from back East, there is nothing that can compare to the flowers grown there from Springtime throughout the Summer months.

So, to satisfy that need, I happily make flowers out of paper!

And, there you have it for today!

Happy Stamping!

Pocketful of Posies!

Happy May Day!

That probably has multiple meanings but the symbolism I ascribe to this, the first day of the Lovely Month of May, is from when I was a wee lass...way back to second grade when I attended Catholic school and danced around the Maypole and wore a pretty dress that my beloved mom created for me! And with a crown of flowers set upon my head!

So...to celebrate, I enjoy making things with flowers of all kinds, centerpieces, wreaths, shadow boxes and most of all...cards!

Enjoy!

Terrarium Time

Spring fever has arrived here in beautiful sunny Phoenix, Arizona...probably a little earlier than most of the country!

Flowers are one of my all time favorites to create...next would have to be butterflies.

This project was inspired by one I saw on Craft Project Central. A dear fellow paper crafting enthusiast used her electronic cutter to make the actual terrarium!

Inside I decided to put a tiny terra cotta flower pot filled with pretty flowers using Stampin Up's Botanical Builder Framelits Dies from the Occasions 2016 Catalog.

The butterflies were made using the big and small butterfly punches, also Stampin Up.

Well...having done a little "research" this morning, I am now inspired to create a Butterfly bouquet that I saw on Pinterest...ok...next project!

Til we meet again...Happy Stamping...Crafting...Creating!

Enjoy!

Paper Cone Wreath

Happy New Year!

With the New Year comes new ideas, new projects and new crafting adventures!

This project is a Birthday Gift for a beautiful aunt and God-Mother of mine...she is turning 80 this month!

She loves pretty pastel colors, so this is what I came up with! Although it is not SU, I used my next best loved designer paper series Graphic 45.

I did manage to use some retired crocheted flowers in the center along with some pretty pink retired  Stampin' Up! chevron ribbon.

Let me know what you think! Would love to hear from you!

Happy Stampin!

Best Thoughts

Happy Monday!

Today's little pretty is a sample using one of the all new Stampin' Up!' Hostess sets - Best Thoughts, as featured in our 2015-2016 Annual Catalog.

Most of you know how much I love flowers...and I could not wait to receive this particular stamp set as I had a vision of what I wanted to do with it! I enjoy water coloring, and for this particular car I used black embossing powder to create the outline-border in which to watercolor each petal.

Recipe:

Stamps: Best Thoughts (hostess)
Ink: versamark, mint macaroon, soft sky, wisteria wonder markers
Paper: whisper white, basic black, wisteria wonder, soft sky
Misc: black embossing powder, NEW butterfly dry embossing folder, basic rhinestones, white signo gel pen, wisteria wonder silk ribbon, dimensionals.

Hope that you like my Monday share...try to keep cool and Stamp!
