I have been wanting to use this stamp set since I received it a few weeks ago. There is a quote that I live by "When you find a dream inside your heart, don't ever let it go, for dreams are the tiny seeds from which tomorrows grow." The author is anonymous. I so believe in my dreams and am continually amazed when they come true.
Well, here is my tribute to "Dreams" today. I utilized the format from the Splitcoaststampers sketch challenge 220 once again. I cannot get enough of the pretty designer paper from the Sale-A-Bration promotion that is sadly ending on March 31st. The colors are so light and refreshing, certainly celery, bashful blue, so saffron, kraft and winter white. I made a little flower from scraps using the Stampin' Up! flower punch and popped that part of the card using dimensionals.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and here's wishing each and every one of you that your dreams come true.
This morning I was playing around and wanted to make a thank you card for a very lovely lady that is new to stamping. I came up with the above creation. Although pretty simple, I like the springy colors and especially my favorite little animal, the sheep. Inside it says "Thank Ewe".
Hope that you too like my little friend and if you care to comment, please do so, I welcome your ideas and suggestions.
This card was cased from the www.splitcoaststampers.com gallery of Kathy LeDonne. It is also a sketch challenge SC219 entry.
For this card, we used SU Sale-A-Bration designer paper, SU so saffron ribbon, SU bashful blue for the sentiment, SU Elegant Cheer, the Polka Dot Punches flower along with the SU round scallop punch, the SU 5-Petal Flower Punch, SU dimensionals and a non SU white brad.
We had so much fun Saturday morning that some of the ladies asked when we were going to get together again...it looks like the Saturday after Easter which will be: April 18th ~ 10:00 am - 12:00noon. I am hoping that my dear husband Ken will make us a delicious dessert too!
Thank you for taking the time to have a peek. Hope that you all have a wonderful week!
This project was made with the Stampin' Up! Top Note die cut, the SUS oval punch, for the handle, SU A Good Egg Stamp Set, and Sale-A-Bration designer paper for the chick's shell and so saffron ribbon on the handle.
We also put some grass and jelly beans in our baskets.
Yesterday I was busy getting ready for my class this coming Saturday at my home. I created this lovely altered clipboard to hold the sign in sheets. This so very pretty Stampin' Up! "in color" is my very favorite, Baja Breeze. It comes in a designer paper package and I will probably use it for many of my future projects!
I will be busy putting together the card kits for class probably today and we will also be making a cute little "Easter Goodie Basket" too!
These items will be posted sometime early next week for your viewing pleasure.
Hope that you are Happy Stamping wherever you are!
